On Saturday, March 21, 2026, Zadar once again hosted the Badminton For All – Summer Edition tournament, bringing together 64 players from 10 clubs. The hall buzzed with energy, camaraderie, and competitive spirit, while spectators enjoyed a full day of exciting matches from morning until the finals.
The tournament featured all age and competition categories, with singles and doubles events ranging from D and C levels to the elite A+B category.
Tournament Overview
The event was marked by strong turnout, flawless organization, and a competitive atmosphere felt on every court. A total of 64 players from 10 clubs participated, including BK Split, BK Fjaka, Badminton Zadar, BK Iader, BK Škrok, BK Tigar, BK ORKA, BK Šibenik, and Badminton Club Una. Many of their representatives reached the finals and secured podium finishes.

Blerina Kicaj: Medals in Every Category
The Badminton Zadar player showed remarkable versatility — competing in WS-C, WD-C, and XD-C and winning a medal in each discipline. Her fighting spirit and tactical maturity especially stood out in WS-C.
Petra and Tea Ljubičić: Gold in WD-C
The sisters from BK Iader dominated the women’s doubles category WD-C. Their coordination and composure in key moments earned them the gold medal, and Tea and Petra also claimed silver and bronze in WS-C.
Mihaela Dokoza and Lea Šimurina: Debut with Medals
Two young players from Badminton Zadar made their tournament debut and immediately demonstrated maturity in their play. Mihaela won bronze in WS-D, while Lea, alongside Mihaela, earned bronze in WD-D. Their matches against adult competitors were full of courage and promise.
Badminton Club Una: Numerous and Successful
The club from Bosnia and Herzegovina arrived with 8 players and won 15 medals, including 4 golds. Their presence added an international flavor to the tournament, and their players displayed technical skill and team cohesion.
BK Tigar: First Appearance Led by Andrea Zvorc
A new club at the tournament, BK Tigar, introduced 4 competitors and immediately raised the level of competition. Under the leadership of Andrea Zvorc, the club won 5 medals, and their matches were among the most thrilling of the day.

In addition to medals, winners received special gifts, which further elevated the competition’s atmosphere.
