Badminton Zadar aims to add Badminton in the life of Zadar and surroundings. In order to develop any sport having a competitive mindset is very important. While in Croatia there are many recreational tournaments, but most of them are organized around Zagreb. For development of sport, it is important to provide easy opportunities for players in Zadar to compete against players from other cities in order to provide better exposure and also bring talent to Zadar.

We are excited to announce that “Badminton Za Sve – Winter edition” recreational tournament will be held on November 28th, 2026. This is a great opportunity for all the badminton lovers out there to showcase their skills and compete against players of their level. BZS will be organized in Elementary School, Poličnik. We invite players from all over Croatia, neighboring countries who are part of badminton world through ADA Liga and other such tournaments, digital nomads and tourists who might be travelling to Zadar during that day. We are confident that badminton players would love to have change in their rhythm, travel to Zadar and help us add “Zadar in the world of Badminton”.

Organizer	Badminton Club Zadar
Time and place	Osnovna Škola Poličnik , Ulica dr. Franje Tuđmana 68 23241 Poličnik, Hrvatska 6 courts Saturday, 28.11.2026. from 08:30h – 19:00h Registraton starts at 08:00. Registration confirmations till 08:30. 08:30 tournament starts.

Discipline	MS, WS, WD, MD, XD; Categories: A+B , C and D Considering there are no official categories in Croatia, these are defined closely to ADA Liga A – Advanced recreational players B – Better recreational – regular participants in tournaments, or know the game well but do not compete due to travel or other constraints. C – Recreational – Playing for a year or so, Already competing in relevant tournaments or may be ambitious to jump the level. D – Beginners- just started, playing for sometime and want to enter into competitive world Tournament finally may be played in different categories, which will be defined based on number of entries.
Participants	All recreational players. Senior Players playing in official tournaments in their countries (e.g PH, HK in Croatia) are NOT allowed to participate to keep it a fair tournament. Organizer reserves the right to cancel registration or give a Wild Card.
Competition	Group qualifications based on round-robin. Best of 3 games of 15 points with 21st being the last point.
Awards	Medals for top 3. No match for 3rd place. Prizes worth 600 EUR
Shuttles	A+B, C – Feather shuttles, players bring their own (Possible to buy in the hall) D – Yonex MAVIS 2000 medium speed (yellow) provided by organizer Feather shuttles or others, players bring their own if participants agree. Feather shuttles takes precedence, if players cannot agree.
Refreshments	Wide selection of juices, cola, drinks, sandwitches, sweet and pizza. Unfortunatley, coffee you need to get yourself, but there is a nice place nearby.
Entry Fee	15 EUR – for the first discipline 10 EUR – for every additional discipline
