The Badminton Za Sve 2025 winter edition, held on Saturday in the Zadar hinterland, brought together a vibrant mix of regional badminton talent for a full day of competition across all categories. Organized by Badminton club Zadar, the tournament featured players from clubs across Dalmatia and beyond, competing in singles and doubles events from the D and C levels to the elite A+B category.
Tournament Overview
The event was marked by strong participation, smooth organization, and a competitive spirit that resonated across all courts. Only 36 players participated in our first ever winter edition in 2023, whilte in 2024 the number increased to 55. In 2025 the progress continued with 64 players participating in the tournament. Clubs such as BK Split, Badminton Zadar, Grad Split, BK Iader, BK Škrok, BK Dubrovnik, BK Concordia, and Badminton klub Una were well represented, with many players reaching multiple finals and securing podium finishes.

Standout Performances
Among the many impressive showings, several athletes distinguished themselves through consistency, versatility, and resilience.
Bruna Sivro: Triple Threat in Singles and Doubles
Bruna Sivro ( BK Split) , youngest female particpant, delivered one of the most dominant all-around performances of the tournament. She clinched the Women’s Singles C title with commanding wins, culminating in a straight-sets victory in the final against Franka Antolić. In Women’s Doubles C, she partnered with Elba Pletikosić Sanchez to secure the title after a hard-fought final against Marina Bacetić Barišić and Sani Šitić. Bruna also reached the final in Mixed Doubles C alongside Tino Lovrinčević, clinching the top spot after a close three-set battle against Petra Višić and Filip Matošić.
Tino Lovrinčević: Powerhouse Across Three Fronts
Tino Lovrinčević (BK Split), youngest male participant, mirrored Bruna’s versatility with standout results in three categories. He won the Men’s Doubles C title with Luka Plavša, and clinched gold medal in Mixed Doubles C with Bruna Sivro, and made a deep run in Men’s Singles A+B, where he reached the semifinals after notable wins in the group stage. His all-round performance confirmed his status as one of the most complete players of the tournament.
Petra Maričić and Nikolina Kabiček: Champions of WD A+B
In the Women’s Doubles A+B category, Petra Maričić and Nikolina Kabiček emerged as champions after a series of tightly contested matches. Their semifinal win over Vesna Pilipović and Valentina Šebalj and a comeback victory in the final against Vesela Jovanović and Ana Stefanovski showcased their composure and tactical maturity.
Franka Antolić and Vanessa Feydel: Courageous Debut in WD A+B
Making their debut in the Women’s Doubles A+B category, Franka Antolić and Vanessa Feydel demonstrated commendable courage and determination. Despite facing experienced opponents, they stepped into the higher-tier competition with confidence and earned the respect of players and spectators alike for their fighting spirit.

We also extend our gratitude to the players who traveled far during the Olive harvesting season to support the club and help us “Add badminton to the life of Zadar.” We look forward to welcoming even more participants in the Summer 2026 edition, where we aim to organize an even grander event to celebrate our shared love for badminton.
